Jackie Taranto is a seasoned business executive and entrepreneur with over thirty years’ experience across a range of industries including technology, advanced manufacturing, international trade, medical, finance & investment, research, and infrastructure. She specialises in creating business collaboration opportunities and platforms to extract and build economic value out of timely deployment of technology and talent.
She founded and built several companies, including Hannover Fairs Australia - the Australian/New Zealand subsidiary of global giant Deutsche Messe, the world’s largest venue owner operator successfully launching global brands CeBIT and CeMAT. CeBIT Australia was the number one technology and innovation business event in the Asia-Pacific region and was estimated to have delivered over $2 billion of economic benefit to NSW and Australia.
Jackie is an experienced Board Director who currently sits on the board of ARM Hub, an agile world-leading technology centre in robotics and design-led manufacturing and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Digital Finance CRC Bid. She previously sat on the boards of the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Bright Alliance Advisory Committee and IOT Alliance Australia.
