The Commission today has published a report highlighting stakeholder feedback from its engagement with Central Coast community members and businesses about economic opportunities in the region.

The engagement program and the What We Heard' report are part of the Commission's ongoing work to develop a strategy for employment and economic growth opportunities on the Central Coast, as requested by the NSW Premier in July 2020.

The Commission undertook preliminary consultation with government agencies and key industry partners in the region, to identify initial focus areas, before seeking wider community feedback over seven weeks through an online engagement portal.

Feedback from the community is being considered in the Central Coast Strategy, which is expected to be released in coming months.
